Another cold day, what's new? I am going to put my snow pants on and go for a walk; I need to get some air. I am not used to not driving my self where I need to go, I miss the independence, but we are here for a reason and that’s what’s important.

Today’s visit was the best yet; because we are not allowed in the play room we are in a small room off of the group it is very warm so the baby only has 3 layers and 1 hat. Also today was the 1st day I was able to feed him all the tea without spilling any on him, so they did not have to change him. He seemed very happy to see us all today and again ate all the cereal.

Because he had on fewer layers it was easier for him to move; he was able to sit alone for about 15 seconds. We know it does not sound like a lot, but it is a really big deal because when we first met him he could not have done this, we are so proud of him !!!

He also was more in to the toys and also loved to touch Dominic's whiskers. Today he also had his first shoulder ride; I keep telling Dominic to be careful. I am so worried we will get in to trouble, or worse still, the baby house director would come in. There is a life time to give shoulder rides, just not in the baby house. We are really beginning to fall in love, in the beginning it is so hard because you are starting to get to know each other and everything is new, but the thought of not seeing him for a few weeks is already hard, but we have a lifetime ahead of us.

After the visit we went to a cafe called Kofe Man, they make the best lattes. Leaves Starbucks in the dust; we will be going back there again that’s for sure. They also have good desserts. We are now back at the hotel and Isabel is doing school work, Dominic is reading, and me, well I’m still thinking about going for my walk!!!!!!.

This afternoon’s visit was wonderful, he was not tired and full of life I was also allowed to change him. He has the cutest little legs with skin so soft and smooth; it just makes you want to kiss each and every inch of him. He is becoming more interested in the toys and it is great to see how he really is changing right before our eyes. Also, he was sitting up for about a minute, way to go sweet boy. He loves to stand and we noticed how each day his little legs are getting stronger; it is really amazing to see these changes. The care givers do a wonderful job caring for the babies, but sometimes there are 2 caregivers for about 10 babies. They are always held when they are fed, no propping of the bottles, so they are all held several times a day. No, nothing is the same as their own family, but they really do seem to love and care for these babies, and for that we will be for ever grateful. One care giver in particular told me that this is her son and how much she loves him; it brought tears to my eyes. I am so happy that our son has already felt the love of a mother.

The weather is going to be getting warmer after Sunday, -15; wow it will feel like spring. Today was -40 without the wind. School has been cancelled for the last 2 weeks because of the cold; we have not seen any children out because of the cold. I am hoping that when I come to pick him up, spring will be here. Wee are told there are many tulips and roses in the local parks, I cannot wait to see.

We are now back at the hotel, trying to figure out what to have for dinner, hum choices?!!!!!!

Until tomorrow LOL
