Well if you thought yesterday was cold, then today is a frigid 10 degrees colder than yesterday, which is a shame because it is too cold to do anything or really go any where. We would love to explore a little, but it is just too cold, so after our visit we just come back to the hotel and wait for the next visit. I guess that’s our day because it does not get warm here until April.

Today's visit was cut a little short because they do not want him falling asleep so by the time we feed him and they change him we really only have about half an hour to play. Also all he wants to do is sleep; he really has no interest in playing for long. Today he only had on 4 layers and 1 hat. A different care giver dressed him. I now have to wear a mask and head scarf to feed him…pic's tomorrow. He eats very well and the bowl is really big, but he eats this at 10 and then nothing else until 4. His meal times have just been changed, so he has to fill up; he also gets 2 bottles a day.

Isabel loves to carry him every where now; he does not like you to sit, they learn fast!

After out visit we went to a wonderful bakery, everything looked and smelled so good we bought a couple of things and they also tasted good. Isabel loves the ice cream, I love the yogurt, Dominic loves everything so far, so on the food side we are doing well.

We are staying at a really nice hotel. The rooms are a good size; our room has 2 twin beds. Isabel sleeps on the floor, which I think is softer than our beds, which look and feel like only the box spring. My hips feel like I have had shots in each leg, shoulders too. I guess you have to sleep on your back, I dread going to bed so we wait until we are so tired that you don't lie awake too long, but we do sleep all night.

This afternoon’s visit was much like the morning. We are kind of running out of things to do because it so cold they do not want him to be on the floor, so to do things with him is a little more difficult as he does not sit up yet. We are going to try a Georgian cafe tonight, not sure what kind of food to expect; we will let you know tomorrow…hopefully good; there is always pizza if all else fails.

Each day when we go to pick the baby I feel so sad for all the other babies. Their life consists of going from the crib to the playpen to being fed and then back to the playpen or crib. The care givers are very nice to them and really do seem to love them, you just wish you could take them all home. It is a shame it is so difficult to adopt because I know so many people that would love to be parents.
