Hard to believe we have been gone almost a week. Time flies when you are having fun. Today our visits were a little different. I was still able to feed the baby breakfast, although he did not like the new cereal. It looked like tiny pieces of nut in a bowl. I had to ask the care giver if it was for him because it looked like adult cereal. Anyway, he cried and cried and finally they gave me a bottle of milk, ah much better. It is not formula but some thing similar to buttermilk, any way this was way easier that the mug of tea. I always spill most of it on him then feel so bad because there is not any more!!!!!

It is so nice to be able to feed him X2 a day not only for the bonding but I get to spend sometime where he had spent the 1st 7 months of his life. You really get to see a little bit of how their group is run and see all the other babies.  Of course everyone is so cute, he seems to be one of the older ones, and some are very young. Next we head upstairs to the playroom; it is a little cool up there so he has on at least 5 layers. I cannot wait to see him naked, but that is not happening anytime soon.

He is becoming more vocal and playful, he seems to be very mellow, but time will tell. He plays for the 1st hour and then gets really tired he falls asleep in your arms in a matter of seconds and this afternoon he was lying on the blanket and sucked his thumb and in seconds was asleep. We then carried him back to the group; we hope they are not mad because every time we bring him back he is asleep. This baby house is very good about letting you feel very at home, each day we come in we are able to go into his group and wash hands then go and find him. Most of the time he is in the walker. I have not seen any other people adopting or any other people walking around. Tomorrow we will try and take a few photos of the inside of the baby house. Even though it is Sunday, we are still able to visit twice.

Today we have a new interpreter, her name is Victoria. She lives in Semey so she knows all the places to go. Today we went to a Turkish café; really good food but they brought the dessert before the main food; strange but still very good. Our meal times seem to be all messed up because by the time we leave the baby house it is 12:00 and then we always seem to have to get something notarized and then it is close to 1:00 and our driver needs to pick us up a 1.30 so we end up eating lunch around 4.00. Oh well, it means we go to the hotel cafe for coffee and dessert which also breaks up the evening. It is so cold, it would be nice to go for a walk and explore a little.

It looks like we may have to come home after bonding and then come back for court, then come back again to bring him home. Oh well, as long as we get to bring him home that is what counts. Isabel’s in love although we cannot decide on a name, so he is being called his given name for now. Maybe by court we will have a name, one can only hope!!!!!

It seems so funny to not have our everyday things to worry about, but also nice just to have wonderful family time.
